About the Artist

Richard McDaniel

Richard McDaniel spends at least as much time studying his subjects and thinking about his compositions as he does painting them. His landscapes are designed to engage the viewer with calculated rhythms and color schemes so the parts of the painting are as rewarding to look at as any literal transcription of the subject.
