Visit scenic locations and develop paintings from your impressions of the landscape. Richard provides easygoing, individual instruction in drawing, oils, or pastel. The workshop concentrates upon strong composition and lively color while examining the difference between working on location and in the studio.

Through demonstrations and discussion we will consider various ways to plan a painting, apply color, and make adjustments to works in progress.
